Still She Rises, Tulsa: A Project of the Bronx Defenders, brings our two decades of holistic service provision in the South Bronx to the women of North Tulsa as the first public defender office in the country dedicated exclusively to representing mothers in the criminal, civil and family court systems.
Still She Rises uses its collaborative multi-disciplinary holistic defense model to respond to the unique challenges and needs of mothers navigating the system. Our staff consists of criminal, civil and family defense attorneys, as well as social workers, legal advocates, parent advocates, investigators and community liaisons, all of whom work together to provide holistic legal and social service advocacy to our clients. We engage with clients, community residents, and policymakers as we seek ways to better serve the Tulsa community and enhance access to justice for all.
All applicants must be dedicated to serving the North Tulsa community, and to collaboratively contributing to the holistic defense of our clients.
